Refund Policy

This Refund Policy applies to purchases made through the Cosmetics & Medicine Publishing LLC website.

Cosmetics & Medicine Publishing LLC sells digital access to electronic books, electronic journal issues, and Online E-Library subscriptions through customer accounts on our website.

Unless expressly stated otherwise on a product page, products purchased on this website are digital access products only. No physical book, magazine, or other item will be shipped. No PDF, EPUB, or other downloadable file is provided.

Immediate Digital Access

Digital access begins immediately after your payment is completed. Purchased titles and subscriptions are made available through your customer account.

By purchasing digital content or a digital subscription, you may be asked to expressly consent to immediate access before the end of any applicable withdrawal period and to acknowledge that you may lose your statutory right of withdrawal once access begins, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Refund Requests

We want customers to be satisfied with their purchases. Refund requests for digital access products are reviewed in good faith on a case-by-case basis.

We may approve a refund, exchange, or cancellation where appropriate, including where:

- you purchased the wrong title or language edition;

- you made a duplicate purchase;

- you expected a print book and did not understand that the product was digital access only;

- you cannot access the purchased content due to a technical issue caused by our website;

- the wrong digital title was added to your account;

- another good-faith customer service reason applies.

If a refund is approved, access to the refunded title or subscription will be terminated.

Digital Books and Journal Issues

For individual digital books or journal issues, refund requests are reviewed based on the timing of the request, the reason for the request, whether access has begun, the extent of use, and any technical access issues.

Refunds may be denied where digital access has already begun and the purchased content has been substantially used, except where a refund is required by applicable law.

Online E-Library Subscriptions

For one-year Online E-Library subscriptions, refund requests are reviewed based on the timing of the request, the extent of use, the reason for the request, and any technical access issues.

If a subscription refund is approved, subscription access will be terminated.

Unless expressly stated otherwise at the time of purchase, Online E-Library subscriptions do not renew automatically.

EU Consumers and Right of Withdrawal

Consumers in the European Union normally have a 14-day right of withdrawal for eligible distance contracts.

However, for digital content or digital services provided immediately after purchase, your statutory right of withdrawal may be lost once access begins if you have expressly consented to immediate access before the end of the withdrawal period and acknowledged that you will lose your right of withdrawal once access begins, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

This does not limit any voluntary refund that we may approve as a matter of customer service.

Refund Processing

If your refund is approved, we will process the refund to your original payment method when reasonably possible.

It may take additional time for your bank, card issuer, or payment provider to process and post the refund.

If a refund is approved, access to the refunded title or subscription will be terminated.

Technical Access Issues

If you experience a technical issue accessing your purchased digital publication or subscription, please contact us at info@cosmedmedia.com.

We may ask for information needed to investigate the issue, such as your order number, account email, browser, device type, and screenshots of any error message.

Future Physical Products

If we offer physical books or other physical products in the future, the product page will clearly state that the item is physical and will identify the applicable shipping and return conditions.
